What are your photography qualifications?

My qualifications include a Fine Arts degree (Photography major) and Cert IV in Photo Imaging. I’m also an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and fully insured for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. As a professional photographer with 10 years of experience, I work with individual clients and partner with Sydney’s leading photographic studios.

Why use an accredited professional?

An AIPP accredited professional photographers are assessed on their skill and competency and are dedication to running their business in an ethical, and professional manner.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. All our equipment is covered for loss/damage

Do you include a pre-wedding shoot?

Yes, all my packages include a complimentary 1-hour engagement shoot. This allows me to get to know you and makes sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera, so that photography runs smoothly on your wedding day.

Can you help me plan my day?

Absolutely – I can help you plan your wedding step by step, so that it is stress-free, with plenty of time to enjoy the day and capture beautiful images without feeling rushed.

 How do you predict for unpredictable weather on your wedding day?

Overcast days and rain can make beautiful images. We always recommend couples have a wet weather location in mind. We work creatively to make whatever locations we have look beautiful. As a backup, reception venues offer beautiful opportunities for indoor photography.

What are your tips for looking great in wedding photos?

For weddings and events, I recommend pretending the camera isn’t there. I ensure that every highlight is captured beautifully, as well as specially requested shots agreed beforehand – so you can relax and enjoy your special day. Read my Tips For Great Wedding Photos.

 How would you define your style?

My style is candid and natural. My aim is to create beautiful, timeless and natural photography by recording your wedding day in a photojournalistic way.

 Are you flexible with your packages?

Yes. Custom packages can be quoted according to your requirements.

How much are additional hours?

Additional hours can be added to your package for the cost of $250 per hour.

What type of equipment do you use?

Professional Canon equipment with a range of lens to give images a unique and distinctive look and feel.

Are my images retouched?

Every image selected for printing is professionally finished with digital colour grading and retouching to ensure a natural appearance and optimal image quality.

Can I purchase the digital files?

Yes, All wedding packages come inclusive of the high-resolution digital files. While I encouraged you to print your photos and create something you can enjoy everyday with your session’s images, we know that the digital files are nice to have as a safeguard, and to share online with friends and family.

What happens if your equipment breaks down?

Fortunately this has never happened. Rest assured we always carry backup equipment.

How many photographers will be at my wedding?

I always shoot with a second photographer as it allows for greater creativity, additional angles and a wider variety of images. I am the lead photographer, with a second professional photographer acting as my assistant.

 When do I receive my wedding day images?

Blog posts and Facebook previews are posted within 2 weeks. Your wedding day images will be ready in approximately 8 weeks from the date of your wedding.

 How long does it take to produce my album?

Once I have draft the design of your album, I will meet with you to approve the layout. Once approved, the album takes up to 12 weeks to be printed.

 Where are you located?

I am based in Sydney, but there is nowhere I won’t travel to photograph a wedding or engagement! So just send me an email and let’s get started.
